Lucas Fuel Treatment is formulated for both gasoline and diesel engines, carbureted or fuel injected. It gives your fuel system what it really needs - a blend of super slick oils and additives with a high detergent action that allows the engine to operate at maximum efficiency. Also, it cleans and lubricates the carburetor and injectors and causes the fuel to burn more thoroughly for increased power and less fuel consumption. Lucas Fuel Treatment should definitely be used in vehicles that require leaded fuel because it actually replaces the benefits of lead in gasoline without causing harmful emissions. Q: Do you recommend using Upper Cylinder Lubricant along with fuel stabilizer in vehicles during winter storage? Essentially, would the oil in the Cylinder Lubricant be helpful in coating the engine internals? Are there any negatives in doing this?
a year agoA: It couldn't hurt as long as the proper amount is used. Im sure it adds a film of lubrication to the internals. Also keep the fuel tank full to prevent moisture condensing, fuel lines from freezing and general fuel degradation.

Q: Can i use this and lucas synthetic oil stabilizer in my 2010 camry at the same time?!
3 years agoA: Yes you can use both products. The synthetic oils stabilizer is added into the engine oil. They upper cylinder lube is added into your fuel system, so again both items are able to be used at the same time.

Q: Will this make my gas safe for a car to start that has not been in 10 years but was stores with supreme and Stabil? Or should I drain the gas. Also I have a Honda Civic that I have not started in 6 years. Empty tank
4 years agoA: This product will not harm the fuel system nor the fuel. The Upper Cylinder Lube is designed to clean your fuel system, lubricate the fuel system and help the fuel burn more efficiently. Upper Cylinder Lube is to be mixed in with the fuel, instructions for proper mixture is printed on the label of the bottles. This product works on all year, makes and models for vehicles.

6 years agoA: Recommended dosage is 2-3 ounces of Fuel Treatment per 10 gallons of fuel. Exceeding the recommended dosage is not harmful to your vehicle.

7 years agoA: The addition of upper cylinder lubrication to any engine is a positive thing. This product works with gas or diesel engines and does not impact any manufacturers warranty. Cleaning the fuel fuel system, combustion chamber and valve train while adding much needed upper cylinder lubrication especially in a performance application is a great idea!

18 years agoA: Fuel Treatment products help to clean deposits in your vehicle's engine. A clean engine runs smoother and is more fuel efficent but results depend on the condition of the vehicle's engine.
