    Excellent Treadmill

I purchased this as a replacement to my 15 year old unit. Wow, what a difference. This treadmill is extremely quiet and is well built. I have lubricated the surface and it is not too big of a head ache. I would strongly recommend this unit. It has all that is needed for a good workout.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    One Solid Machine

My local Canadian Tire store manager was very helpful arranging to get this machine to my house. It is indeed heavy and you'll need two people to handle it safely. 1. Clear instructions are provided for easy assembly. 2. The machine went together without any issues. 3. Livestrong website has some really good maintenance videos. 4. Strong motor and runs quietly. 5. Once assembled, is easy to move around and store. Only quirk I find is:- Why, when you select the 5K program, the actual readout is in MILES?... Er... This is Canada!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Love it

I bought this treadmill in the New Year, also for the same as the other poster. I paid for delivery and set up (delivery guy had a set up guy, CT doesn't do in home assembly) and the two guys were done in less than an hour. I could have done that myself but I really needed them to move it to the bsmt for me (delivery was to door only) so I decided to save myself the headache and let them put it together too. Programming was easy and the booklet covers what you need to know (including how to change the date the previous poster mentioned and I figured out to set time...you have to input the time using 24hr clock and then can choose to have it show up in 12 hr view...that was not covered in the book). I love tracking the workouts and the pre programmed workouts are great so far. Some start slow but that's easy to fix. I do have a gym membership and find this machine as sturdy as the gym ones so far (sturdy track, arms don't wiggle when you need to jump off track, etc) so I enjoy and feel safe running on it. Front cover on track can get in the way if close to the console (I'm 5'8" but don't have a long stride) so running close is not ideal but I usually back up a bit anyway so it's not really an issue. Could be if you are taller or have longer stride. Feather lift on track is awesome and I was able to move it around on the wheels to position it better once set up no problem. That surprised me. My speakers are great and I love plugging in my ipad and watching my shows while I walk. I wish my gym had wifi too - I'd stay longer. I'm getting sick of the same music over and over and not being able to multi task while there. Only complaint is oiling the track...was not easy to get the track tension right the first time. It came unequal so counting the turns to know what to put it back to was useless. I hope the next time will be better because many swear words were used. Just a warning - it is big. Which is good for a treadmill but you will need adequate space for it. It is also super heavy and CT needs to improve their delivery program to include delivery and in home set up. That's important for this kind and size of exercise equipment. Polar heart rate monitor is good - it drops sometimes but so do the ones at the gym so nothing is perfect. Fan isn't super strong but it seems to be enough that I don't have to supplement with a free standing one. Overall though, love it, glad I bought it. Hope I never have to move houses with it lol. I now can walk regardless the weather and on the days I don't feel like leaving the house to hit the gym. Also spending so much time in the bsmt helped motivate me to clean up and declutter when I was done working out so I'm grateful for that too:). So it's worth getting if you will use it. If you are sporadic at working out or don't need the bells and whistles then go for one of the less expensive machines. It doesn't come get your butt to work out but it will kick your butt if you ask it to:)

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Quality home treadmill

Ridiculously easy to assemble. The nuts and bolts/screws are all shrink wrapped individually with the corresponding step number. My husband and I managed to get the box into the house ourselves, also with the help of my old skateboard and then onto an old quilt to drag the box over the hardwood floors and down the stairs. I assembled it myself in about 2.5 hours, very easy to follow instructions. Didn't bother reading the instruction manual and was able to program it for initial set up. Very nice to run on, quiet and smooth. Track adjustments are a breeze. Got on sale at 65% off at the beginning of the year, a real bargain for this piece of equipment especially given the quality. I highly recommend this model and am thrilled with it.

    Overall very, very happy

I purchased the 15.0 just before Christmas and my husband and son had it set it up in about an hour--with no problems (or arguments lol). They said the instructions were easy to follow and all parts nicely labelled. It is very, very (very) heavy. Tip: my son's skateboard was instrumental in moving the box to it's final resting spot. The touchscreen is very responsive and the displays easy to move between. The incline isn't jerky AT ALL--I honestly can't tell when it is moving other than a harder or easier running effort. The speed controls are super handy and very responsive. This treadmill is so quiet the only thing I hear is my footsteps. It is rock solid and I love the smoothness of it's operations. After all that, perhaps the most important thing for me (being a 20+ year runner# is the happiness of my knees. I have zero knee pain after my runs now. I never thought I'd be able to say that again! I only have two beefs: 1. I wish the speakers were better quality #the left speaker is already garbling lower voices on the podcasts I listen to) and 2. the computer refuses to accept the date and time I enter...it seems intent on recording all my work outs for February 2000. Frankly I don't care as I don't track my runs anyway. I haven't tried the USB port to download my workouts or use the website...two things I also don't care about. I just want to run. So far I couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend this treadmill :)

Q: What are the dimensions when folded? Just wondering what the dimensions are when it's folded up, I'd like to know how far it will come out so that I can plan where to put it...

    • A: It doesn't fold flat like some treadmills. The running track folds vertically about 3/4 of the way up. The foot print is about 3' x 3' when it's folded

Q: how to adjust the date and time for LS 15.0T treadmill? l have download the information form livestrong site and update the treadmill.

    1 Answer
    • A: To my knowledge, you need to put the machine into "Engineering Mode" Press [incline up arrow] and [speed down arrow] at the same time. You will enter the engineering mode and you can adjust from there.

Q: How often (and difficult) is lubricating required?

    1 Answer
    • A: They say about every three months. Wasn't easy first time since the tension was off when it came out of the box. Suggestion, get tension right first, then count turns to ensure you get it back to where you need it. It's easier with 2 people too...the tension bolts are at the back of the track so shutting it off if it goes off too much is a pain. I'm hoping now that I got it and I count the turns then the next time will be better. It's not difficult, just annoying.
