Good product, but has some flaws

This fixture is a unique and useful product product that clips just about anywhere you want to give you a good source of "spot light. The clip has a hard time hanging on when surfaces is at a large horizontal angle though; or if the surface is round. Its why I am only giving it 4 stars. There are also no instructions provided with the lamp, which can make it hard to assemble for those who are not "handy" with things. This is a major flaw.

Perfect for my plants

I bought this to insert a grow light in there. And for it to be lightweight enough that it can hang from the tension rod that my living room drapes are hung on. It works perfectly. I used a piece of fabric around the tension rod and the clamp light hangs on that upside down. My plants are loving this light. The only 2 things that would be on my wishlist are: 1- instructions on how to screw the plate onto the clamp light and so you can adjust the angle you want. I haven't used one of these before, so I didn't know how to put it on. Thank goodness for another manufacturer to post a youtube video for me to watch. 2- a longer cord.
I do love the fact you can change the angle the light faces and you an clip it onto pretty much anything you want to- and it stays put. It is so lightweight that you don't have to worry about what you're anchoring this lamp to. The clamp is easy to use and it doesn't hurt my arthritic hands to unclamp it if I want to move it to a different location. And by using a low wattage grow light, the lamp never gets hot -even when it's on for over 12 hours.
I completely recommend this to anyone who wants to clip a lamp to somewhere. And of course, it's perfect for inside gardeners. My snake plants are happy plants now.

A: Yes, the 75W replacement bulb will be more efficient than the CFL equivalent bulb.

Q: how heavy is this light? without the light bulb, how heavy is this light? Since I want to clamp it on a wall shelf, if too heavy , my wall shelf will be over weight.

Q: Wattages incorrect? I just came home with 5 of these and they say on the packaging it can only handle 75W, not 150. Is there a similar model that can perhaps handle a higher wattage bulb?
