[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always used a much cheaper coffee maker. I wasn't pleased with that one, after I purchased a new one & sent it back. I love everything I've purchased from KitchenAid, & this coffee maker is no exception. A much more expensive choice, but worth it. The coffee is just right & the appearance on my counter is just right. I love KitchenAid. 4 stars is perfect in my book, I never give 5 stars on this type of survey. I always leave room for improvement

Not my favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coffee does not get hot enough. Cannot just turn it back on after the auto turn off, have to add more water and just restart the whole cycle. Seems to drip constantly too. Basket does not empty. Have to keep a rag under when pot is taken out. Lots of problems.

Good, but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a while ago as my first KitchenAid purchase. The coffee is good. But the alarm does not need to wake up the rest of the house to start it or when it’s done. Also, I could hardly see how much water I was adding.

A: Automated pour over coffee technology is not like of a drop coffee maker. Unlike drip coffee makers that continuously flood the brew basket, the new KitchenAid Pour Over Coffee Brewer precisely heats and pulses the flow of water, steeping in the same manner as the manual pour over process, allowing the grounds to "bloom". The result is bright, clean and full flavoured coffee without diluting due to over soaking.
