Great Starter Set

We purchase 2 sets for our kids birthday's who are on their own, perfect set of cookware for them to start with at a very reasonable price. Would recommend this set to all just setting out on their own. They love them and will now have the opportunity to have over for dinner!

Polish went off but still good

hi , i liked it when i purchased this cooware set , its in a cheap price as well but after 3 months of usage polish started getting off , of course i dont see it loosing its polish from inside/outside ... does have life time warranty i think i will take it back to canadian tire when it will start sticking to the bottom . thanks .

I love my set, they are easy to clean regardless what you cook . They heat up instantly.
Only negative is I dropped a pot by accident and the pot bent, I was disappointed that the quality was not more durable.

Q: Lids for Product #42-0003-4 The photo of the product shows what looks like metal lids, but the description mentions glass lids that are not dishwasher safe. Are there two different lids or is the photo on the website incorrect? Or do I just need my eyes checked?

A: Mine have a glass lid, edged with a stainless steel rim and they are fine in the dishwasher.

Q: not as advertised 42-0003-4 is the scu# on the box but it is not the same set you advertise? why is it not showing the right set?

A: The set came with a strainer/steamer before but it was recently replaced by a frying pan with a cover. I much prefer the frying pan as i have more use for it.

Q: What size of frying pans would the lids included in this set fit?

A: The lids in this set are of the following dimensions: 14 cm, 16cm, 18cm, and two of 24 cm. That said, using a lid designed for use on another pan may cause a lid vacuum whereby the lid is suctioned onto the pan. We do not recommend using a lid from one pan to cover a different pan.

Q: What category does the steel used fall into? Why does is turn blue as some of the users have complained? I spent some time searching the internet for "Chromium Copper Stainless Steel", but haven't come across any such combination for the alloy.

A: Thank you very much for your question. The bluing may be caused by high heat beyond what the Use and Care suggests. To remove these blue spots, you can try and usea product call Barkeepers Friend.
