Battery Ice Auger

Where have you been all my life. It was the quickest hole I ever made through 18" of ice. I have not had the opportunity to try other battery operated models but this one definitely sets the bar high.

This auger is very powerful. We already dug a lot of ice holes, and the battery power indicator is still at full power. Love the reversal on the auger, makes it easy to back it out of a jam. Great product, recommend it to everyone. And No need for fuel.

Excellent auger! Money well spent

I bought this auger a couple days ago to replace a cordless drill manual auger unit. I am sure glad I made the change because this auger cuts through ice like butter and the battery lasts a long time. To top it off this unit is light but appears to be well made for years of reliability. They are a bit pricey compared to gas models but you are getting what you do you pay for. I will never go gas again. I usually pop to 15 to 20 holes and 2 feet of ice and the auger shows no sign of Slowing down.

plastic parts

I don't own one but will be buying one for my dad for Christmas, I used them with friends last year during ice season and I was impressed. no fumes so you can drill inside the tent, no messy gassy fingers, no noise. the only thing you can hear is the blade cutting the ice. I would be a lot nicer day on the ice if everyone had one. to the review below about plastic parts, the only reason you would half drill a hole to stand your auger up is so that you don't flood your gas motor..... this is battery powered why stand it up?

A: Comes with one battery, extras are available for sale. Cut 20 holes in 14" ice and only used up 1/3 bars on battery.

Q: Have they changed the design of the auger? 2017 model series 027943, use a cast centering ring (PN 28197) on the bottom that attaches to the auger flighting. The cast ring broke, & fell to lake bottom with pieces of cast. Parts not stocked.

They will want the model number of the auger as well as the entire serial number (all 21 digits). You may call 800-345-6007 option 1, then, option 3 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central time for assistance. NOTE: If you have not registered your auger, you will want to locate your proof of purchase as it will be needed prior to sending any parts out to you under Warranty. Thank you, have a good night.

Q: Does the battery come charged? Mine is brand new out of the box. Put it on the charger it flashes three times green then goes solid. Put it on the power head and no power, no battery percentage whatsoever on the battery.

You will want to contact Customer Service directly as they will need to ask you a few questions and may have you try a few different things to see if they can determine if there is something wrong with either the battery or the auger. Have your model number and serial number for the auger available (information is on the powerhead). You can reach them at 800-345-6007 option 1, then option 3 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central time.
