Q: How accurate are the humidity and temperature readings?

A: A) On temperatures between 32°F-122F the hydrometers are +/-2°F otherwise they are +/-4°F. In regards to humidity levels that are between 40-80%RH the differential is +/-5%RH otherwise it is +/-7%RH. I hope this information is helpful! Q: Can this hygrometer be used in a closed environment? I am incubating eggs in a "sealed" unit. Humidity is added to the air within the incubator. Can this device measure relative humidity if placed in the incubator ("inside air"), or must it have "outside" air also for a reference point? Thanks, Michael
