A: As long as the portable bbq takes 1 lb tanks this hose will work. No regulator needed as it is already built into the bbq.

A: This hose adapts a qcc fitting ( 20 lb tank ) to a 1 lb tank fitting. The smoker comes with a qcc fitting, so no it will not fit.

Q: Will will work to connect a portable bbq to an rv?

A: the portable BBQ should connect to the smaller threaded end, (same thread as is on a small bottle size propane tank). The larger end of the hose threads into a larger propane tank (most RVs have two larger propane tanks mounted on them). You should be able to connect your bbq to the propane tank on the front of the RV.
