HAVE HAD 2 both broke

I have 2 hoovers - BOTH BROKE!!! one just broke today had it for a couple years loved it, but the on off button just broke, the other one with smaller container was absolutely garbage, it only lasted 1 year! The large capacity one made a few years ago windtunnel 2 high capacity was a beast - but the on/off switch just broke! BUmmer, also , the pin where the lid flips out when you empty the canister falls out and then you cant close it - i duct taped mine - why do they make things with the smallest of parts of plastic that ruin the whole thing!???

Q: OK so I have this vacuum and it works fine aside from the fact that the handle literally will not stay in the thing so every time I pull it backwards the whole vacuum falls apart. that little handle to lock it into place literally doesn't work?????
