Always had a problem

I bought this a year ago. Had a blockage problem when I used it for the first time. Always needs a maintenance. Now it gave up and does not generate steam at all. Look elsewhere don't buy this low quality product for that money.

Quit working

I got this has a Christmas gift last year. I have used it about 5 times. Go to use it the other day, no steam coming out of the floor piece. I called a Hoover number and she figured it was plugged told me what to do to unplug it. I have tried shoving a paper clip in every orifice. Tried using CLR. Let it sit with CLR for a few days shake It up hoping the CLR will work its way through. Not sure how it would get plugged because I only used water, no chemicals in it. Very disappointed in this one. I typically love Hoover products and always have great luck with them but not this over priced steam mop. So disappointed!

poor quality

First one lasted 3 months and the second one 12 months. The second one isn't producing any steam and I'm just over the one year warranty. Really poor quality.. I guess that's why there is only a one year warranty.

Absolutely not recommend

a real piece of garbage. multiple issues since day one. my biggest mistake was I didn't return the product. after more than 1 year have to get a new Steam mop. First, the Trigger stopped working then it doesn't make steam at all just make noise.never ever get anything from Hoover

Q: How is this different from Hoover TwinTank Steam Mop?

A: The difference is in the accessories. The TwinTank can be used as an upright steam mop on floors and that's pretty much it. For this one, you can remove the steamer part from the holder (it looks like a handheld vacuum cleaner) and then attach the hose, brush or other nozzle to clean mirrors, grout, countertops and pretty much anything else.

A: It weighs about 10 pounds when steaming the floor, and about 1/2 that when using the accessories. There is an on/off switch, although I never use it. I haven't measured the cord.
