Enfin un thermostat simple facile à utiliser et installé

J'ai acheté 2 thermostats. Simple et facile d'utilisation. Aucune programmation. Durée de vie meilleure je crois que les programmables qui étaient installés avant ceux-ci. Je recommande.

Good, easy install, looks and works well but the only thing that would make it a 5 star was if the screen was backlit so you could see it better.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Took 5 min to replace old thermostat. Simple installation. This thermostat is designed well and looks good on the wall, considering its relatively low price. Satified with purchase. Hopefully it'll last for a long time.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great thermostat and great price

Over the last year or so, I've been upgrading my old style Honeywell thermostats with these digital ones. They are much nicer to look at and much more accurate than the old dial knob type. They bring the house up to date with the more modern look and feel. I replaced 6 of them the other day within about 45 mins of work. I still have 4 in the house that needs to change out but the local store is out of stock. Beyond and look, it's much more functional displaying the current room temperature and if the heat is on and how strong. I one thing that I'd like to see in the next generation would to be have backlit turn on when adjusting temperature during the nights. I highly recommend this product.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Very Good.

I purchased 3 of these thermostats to replace the dial type thermostats that came with my condo. These new thermostats are exactly what I wanted, as they are completely silent, and are very accurate. I like that these display this current room temperature, and have an icon on them that indicates not only when the room is being heated, but to what intensity the room is being heated as well. Installation was easy, the instructions are clear, and they have the same footprint on the wall as a standard dial type thermostat. I would have liked if the LCD display were illuminated when using the thermostat, but I don't expect that feature in this price range. Over All: It's a precise unit that works exactly as it's supposed to. Quietly. Be aware that these are for electric baseboards only and handle a maximum load of 1000W on 120V. (I.E. Smaller heating applications) Check your heaters before purchasing.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Is this thermostat suitable for controlling a natural gas fireplace?

    2 Answers
    • A: According to the manual: This thermostat can be used to control an electric heating system such as a baseboard heater, a radiant floor,a radiant ceiling, or a con- vector. The thermostat CANNOT be used with: • a resistive load under 0.83 A • a resistive load over 8.3 A • a system driven by a contactor or a relay (inductive load) • a fan-forced heating system (e.g. : fan-forced convector) • a central heating system Since a natural gas fireplace does not use electricity other than for the electrically controlled gas valve (which is probably a solenoid and hence is a small inductive load), I would assume that this unit cannot be used in that application.

Q: Does this have progressive control of the power level? I understand that the other Honeywell line voltage thermostat listed, Product #52-2536-0, has progressive control of the power level, as opposed to full on/full off (like a mechanical thermostat). Does this one work the same way?

    • A: No. It uses a 15-second on/off cycle.

Q: Although battery free does this have a capacitor to remember your last temperature setting in the event of a power outage? If so what is the approx. runtime for the capacitor?

    2 Answers
    • A: According to the manual under the "Power Outage" section, "During a power outage, the setpoint is saved in memory. You do not need to adjust the temperature when power returns." It does not specify the mechanism used for the memory. I would assume it uses some kind of static memory (SRAM) that does not require power to maintain state.

Q: I see in the manual it cannot run under 0.83A? Not sure if this has to do with the programming part of it? I'm just trying to use it to control two different heaters by energizing the 120V coils. To me it shouldn't care if the load is too small?

    1 Answer
    • A: Hi bmart, this thermostat requires a minimum load of 0.83 A. To verify if this thermostat is compatible we need to know what is the Voltage, Wattage and Amperage of your system, feel free to contact our tech support team at (800) 633-3991 or send us a DM to our Honeywell Home Facebook/Twitter account. - Maria

Q: Which thermostat will work with 80,000 BTU BIG MAXX natural gas heater for my garage.

    1 Answer
    • A: Line volt thermostats do not work with natural gas fueled equipment. Sku 0528831 is not compatible. In this case, I recommend your customer contacts the garage heater manufacturer for a recommendation, because we don’t know the specs of the heater.

Q: Do these thermostats shut off when the desired temperature is reached ? A friend of mine has one and he tells me that it is always on ( showing a single squiggly bar ) ....

    1 Answer
    • A: The Honeywell Non-Programmable Line Volt Thermostat will only operate the heating system to maintain the desired indoor temperature. The lines that are displayed on the thermostat screen, indicate the heating intensity that is needed to keep the indoor temperature at the preferred set-point. Hope this helps!
