Q: the minus 20 Celsius max temp does that include windchill

A: Windchill does not apply to machinery, only humans and other warm blooded animals. Windchill does not actually make anything colder, it's just a way of describing how much the wind is 'wicking' the heat away from your body. When operating this unit outside in -20°C, it will operated exactly the same if it's -20°C with 0 km/h wind, or 30 km/h wind.

Q: Is it self propelled?

A: No, but it is light and easy to push. It will stop if plugged when pushed hard into deep snow, but if you want to clear snow over a foot deep you can tilt up and get the top half, pull back and then do the lower half and progress forward that way, a couple of feet at a time.

Q: Reason for incorrect charge-level reporting The battery has started to incorrectly report its charge level. For example, it will show as fully-charged almost immediately after plugging in a dead battery to charge. Is this incorrect reading a problem with the battery or the charger?

Q: Will this product be offered in Alberta in the future? I don't see it available right now. If it will, it would be great if the battery and charger could be purchased as a separate optional package. I already have a lawn mower from the same brand, and the batteries and charger are basically collecting dust during the winter.

A: There are no restrictions on this snowthrower in Alberta and it is available across the country - please check your local store for availability. Unfortunately at this time there isn’t the option of purchasing the snowthrower without the battery and charger.

Q: Why don't you sell just the tool, without the battery? I already have the mower with 2 batteries. I don't want another battery. This is a poor deal for anyone loyal to the greenworks brand. You should sell without batteries (-$100) then I would buy every tool!

A: Yes the impellor is polyethylene plastic, designed for winter use. The parts for the unit are readily available through the vendor by calling 1-877-888-3872.
