Bottle does not seal

I’ve used this product many times as a carpenter. It bonds things very well and it’s waterproof. My issue is I keep wasting 3/4 of the bottles. Once it’s open it will harden in the bottle within a month. Very frustrating

Has issues if you need to glue above your head and though show quick dry it isn't that fast but works if you can get it on the surface and hold it in place long enough

Who knew? I read the instructions for Gorilla Glue, and i was surprised that there was more to it than apply and clamp. Similar to superglue, the polymerization requires moisture, so wetting the surfaces first is an important step that I wouldn’t have thought of.

A: Hello Brenda, Original Gorilla Glue is a moisture activated glue. The glue will foam and expand 3-4x the amount applied, and the glue would need to be clamped after being applied. The glue is not recommended for fabrics. A: Ginnyd17, The Original Gorilla Glue will work on metal as long as the directions are able to be followed to damp it, glue it, clamp it. All steps are very important for a successful application. We would not recommend our adhesives if used in a structural application. If this is structural, you will need to use mechanical fasteners. The Gorilla Glue Company
