    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: How will it affect the garments material? Is the material still breathable? Does it rubberize the material? How long does it last? Does it color the material or stain it?

    1 Answer
    • A: How will it affect the garments material? : After drying, the garment material will have no noticeable changes in color or hand. However, you may experience a very minimal hand difference on some natural fabrics (like a very light starch effect), although this is not a negative and is barely discernable. The garment material will become more water repellent, as well as more stain and oil resistant. Is the material still breathable? Absolutely, this product is silicone free, which promotes breathability and does not inhibit it in any way. Does it rubberize the material? No, this product does not work like some wax-based or silicone products on the market. This formula is based around a factory DWR. How long does it last? Many variables involved. Depending on the garment material itself, the abrasion, dirt, oil and water frequency/intensity the garment is subjected to in use, this product can last from a half to full season, down to one trip in extreme conditions. Does it color the material or stain it? This product is colorless. Once dry, the product will not color the material and will certainly not stain it. On the very darkest of fabrics, if applied heavily, one may notice a very slight lightening of the garment shade, which subsides once the product abrades away over time
