Great tent for hiking or overnighters

Picked this tent up for a one night stay when I didn't want to take the time to setup our big two room framed tent. Worked great for a one night stay and it is very light making it ideal for hiking. I am 6'3" and fit quite well though I wish it were a little longer. Two people is pushing it though unless it were two kids. even then it is really just a good tent for one night stays for 1 person.
I think this should be rated as a one person tent though. I can see two people sleeping in this thing without problems.

Consider the Netting

When I unpacked the tent I found the netting was quite coarse. It would stop a dragonfly or a horsefly, but not a the dreaded nosee-um (sandfly) and probably not the blackfly. For Northern Ontario trips this was not acceptable and I returned the tent.

poles, condensation

This is a roomy tent for a single person. I like it for canoe camping, as I can fit it in my 115L pack. There are 2 shortcomings, as I see it. The poles are very thin and one split on the third use, also the ventilation is poor and condensation can be severe.

Pour ma part j'ai acheté cette tente au début de l'été et je suis très satisfaite, Rapport qualité prix je n'ai absolument rien a dire. Je suis partie en camping et pêche en mauricie et nous étions 2 à coucher à l'intérieur nous sommes de grandeur 5.5 et 5.8, bon c'est sur que on ne pouvaient pas bouger énormement mais on y étaient très confortable. Pour l'équipement, j'ai placer mon sac dans un sac en plastique au vestibule de la tente sans problème. Le vestibule couvre completement L'entré de la tente jusqu'au sol sans y toucher ! Il à mouillé un peu et nous sommes tout de meme rester au sec. J'espère vous avoir aider un peu ;)

what a steal !

Cant beat the price for the quality of this tent! It is definitely light weight and easy set up by one person, and easily competes with more expensive tents. It easily fit's two adults with leg room to spare as long as they are both under 6ft, but can fit a 6ft person if using it as a single. I purposely set it up when I knew it was to storm so I knew how it would preform and was surprised to find it withstood heavy rain and wind as long as it was staked and facing away from head on wind. I found it to have good ventilation for a full fly tent as well. my only complaint its that the tent is not a free standing tent and needs to be staked down in order to be used, but other than that for the minimalist and budget conches camper you cant go wrong with this tent. happy camping :)

A: I would definitely say it is portable the poles may need to be placed inside your pack but the tent itself can easily be folded down to a very small size and held by a rack sack so long as it has enough straps

Q: Will this be restocked/replaced? This product now shows as discontinued... Will it be restocked at some point in the future? Or replaced with a similar product? I'm looking for a good budget-friendly backpacking tent and this was my number one choice by far.
