    Great buy

My husband and I are empty nesters and didn't need our big family tent anymore. This summer this tent has been well used in Parks across Ontario! Easy 5 minute put up and fits back in the original bag when its time to go home!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Best $30 ever spent

My girlfriend and I were backpacking around Africa and we brought with us this Canadian Tire gem! We probably slept in it 20 times or so with no issues. It keeps the rain off and lions out. Folds up small to pack around and is relatively light for the price you pay.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good for the money

This was a last minute purchase for a weekend outing. Expectations were low as I have had a similar dome tent in the past. Easy and quick to setup. At 6'3" I was about touching both sides of the tent but it kept the rain out all weekend including a couple of downpours. Did have some condensation on the inside in the morning. Wish the overhang would at least cover the entrance; when you open the door, the rain and water on the tent fall into the entrance area. Space in the tent for 2 at most, I was alone with a backpack and duffle bag that about filled all the space less the entrance area that was wet.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Quick and Easy

This tent is quick and easy to set up. One person can have it ready for use in 10 minutes and it's just as easy to tear down. Lots of venting for air circulation and inside hanging pockets to store a flashlight, keys etc.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

You cannot go wrong with this tent for the price, decent space in side and will keep you dry at night. For camping on a budget this is a win.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Has anyone tried this tent in the rain? How did it stand up?

    3 Answers
    • A: the tent has kept me dry in heavy rain. however, one time there was a tornado warning in algonquin park, the rain was blowing sideways, it was extremely windy, and it was the heaviest most severe rainfall i have ever experienced. the seams leaked a little, near the door. it almost just seemed like the water was seeping through the material. however, the floor was bombproof. there was a huge volume of water rushing under our tent (the only part of the tent contacting the ground was where we were sitting), and not a single drop leaked. so in general, in mild to heavy rainfall, you will be fine. in extreme extreme severe and windy storms, you might be in trouble. (but honestly, i could be in my own house, and in that kind of storm, something would be leaking anyway, or a window would blow in or something). plus, how often does a person go camping during a tornado warning anyway?

Q: What's the measurements for the tent's base? We have a double size inflatable bed, I wanted to know if it fits in this tent.

    • A: A Coleman queen size inflatable bed fits perfect on this tent. There is not plenty room for luggage but, you can manage the space in between walls and bed. Small tools and items you can put them into the hanging pocket.

Q: Does the ground sheet come with the tent? Like the bottom part that you place on the ground or do I need to buy that separately?

    2 Answers
    • A: No ground sheet with this tent. I have always used tarps with my tents and have not had any issues. In my larger tent (8 person) I use the 2x2 basement floor squares for the kids to give a solid base to protect the floor of the tent.
