Works, but does leak.

It works, allowed me to measure fuel line pressure on an e36 BMW at the Schrader valve, but it did leak at the pressure relief button at first use, upon trying to relieve pressure before disconnecting. I knew it would leak from the other reviews, so expectation met. Second use the button no longer seemed to work, but again, not an issue as I was using this outside, and was expecting some fuel leak this time when I disconnected the Schrader. I guess just be ready for some fuel leakage. The attachments did exactly what I needed, so overall, it was ok, not great but ok. Later, I did see a version in store where the relief assembly was metal and button plastic - I can't speak to that one as mine is a plastic relief assembly with a plastic button.

waste of money

First time I used it, the pressure relief valve sprayed gas everywhere but out the proper place. It hasn't worked since. No way to relieve the pressure other than wrap a rag around the hose and unscrew it from the T.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible experience

It was awful. The pressure relief valve sprayed gas’s all over me and my garage. Yes I had a tube attached and a catch bottle to catch the relief fuel. It sprayed all around the button when I pushed it not allowing any control of where the fuel went. I will be returning it on my next trip to Canadian tire as it is defective. Thankfully nothing caught on fire.

Q: This thing is junk. I purchased it and didn't keep the receipt. False advertisement the thing is all plastic not metal as the picture shows I used it twice and the relief valve it stuck and leaking would they take ot back without receipt?

A: The only thing that is plastic Is the piece that goes in? Between 2 fuel lines, but most vehicles today have quick attachments, which requires a more expensive fuel testing kit. I recommend buying the more expensive one. Or making your own adapters.

A: Yes, although i suggest you get a T-hose connector to join it on the fuel system. Without disrupting the routing. I have ran it on a 1990 nissan 300zx and the test came out well.

Q: will this work on a 2005 Volkswagen touareg 3.2L V6 (BMX engine code)?

A: It does come with different adapters for different cars. Check the service manual for you car and it should tell you what adapter you have on your engine. If it doesn't match i'm sure you can find another adapter that will attach to it. It came with an adapter for my vehicle so i was lucky.

A: The 3640 does have an adapter to fit a Schrader valve for further testing. Follow all directions specified in the marine engine's service manual for procedures, and specifications before using the fuel injection pressure tester.

A: Unfortunately, the Equus 3640 Fuel Pressure Tester Kit (0251020) is only compatible with domestic vehicles and some import vehicles, which does not include Mercedes. This means that it will not function properly with your vehicle.
