    Lost power after two years

After two years the rifle lost power and I can physically see the pellet come out the end of the rifle. My old Crossman (15+ years) still shoots as good as new.

No, I do not recommend this product.

OK as a under 10ft plinker.

The front fiber obtics on both barrels broke after 2 weeks. The .22 caliber is able to hit a 2inch sized targets 7-8 times out of 10 at 35ft which ok. The .177 caliber has groupings of 3 inches at 25ft as is basicly garbage unless you like wasting lead. Don't use this gun for hunting small game, it is not accurate enough to produce clean and humane results.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good air rifle, accurate

Trigger is stiff but once broken in, a little better. Once sighted in, very accurate (I found .22 is more accurate than 1.77 for some reason).

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Not so good

Bought this gun 10 days ago. Was happy with it for about 50 shots & than it would not load after that. When I break the barrel, it makes a very rough sound & won't set. It will be returned tomorrow!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great air rifle

I bought this on special to deal with squirrels and chipmunks that were getting into the attic. I tried both the .177 and .22 barrels and settled on the .22. Rifle is very accurate using either the scope or open sights and has sufficient power. Only complaint I have is that the trigger is very stiff but it is beginning to loosen up with use. Well made and good value with $100 off.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Do you need a permit to buy a pellet rifle?

    • A: No you do not, unless the airgun is over 500 fps then you need a PAL. If it is under you are good if you do not have PAL. The 500 fps rule is for all firearms including airsoft.

Q: What ammunition is recommended? Lead pointed-tip, lead "wadcutter" rounds? BBs? Which is best suited for this rifle?

    • A: Pointed lead for most purposes, wadcutter for short range target shooting. hollowpoints not recommended. Lower velocity airguns (IE ones not requiring a PAL, under 500fps) do not make good hunting rifles and will often simply wound. Pointed work well for small pest control anyways. No BBs in this one.
