Simplistic to setup and use. Set it up and forget it. Just check back every while. Depending on how damp of an area it is used in will dictate how often you need to check it.

Inside car, inside insulated garage

As a first time user for something like this, I bought it to be used inside my car that is stored in an insulated garage. I've placed it by the gas pedal and I'm surprised at how much moisture it is collecting.

My husband and I recently purchased DRI-Z AIR for the Storage Unit that we rented. And I must say that I am impressed with the DRI-Z AIR product. The DRI-Z AIR is wicking excess moisture fromthe unit and keeping the contents of the unit dry. We highly recommend this product.

A: DRI-Z-AIR requires no electricity to operate. Simply fill the upper basket with DRI-Z-AIR crystals, put the top on and your done. Check it in 20 days.

Q: Would this be safe to use in a basement bedroom? Most dehumidifiers are too noisy. Also, does it have an odour?

Q: Will this work in my car? My windows are constantly fogging up and I think my carpets might be too wet (I now have mats) and not drying out due to the extreme coldness here. Do I need to have this holder or can I just pour it in the a bucket.

Q: How long does one package last? How long does one package last about before it has to be refilled? How many are in a package?

A: 1 13oz package of DRI-Z-AIR refills one Unit and lasts for approximately 30 days. If there is a significant amount of moisture in the air, then check it at 20 days. You do not have to wait for all the crystals to melt in order to refill the units. Just make sure you empty the bowl on the bottom every 2-3 weeks.

Q: reusing crystals Can the crystals be recharged? Couldn't they be heated to drive out moisture?

A: Unfortunately not. The Crystals turn into a salt brine that needs to be disposed of and it can't be re-charged or re-used.
