    I've Got The Blues!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a great filament library! Because most of my printers are Dremel 3D45s, most of my colours are Dremel. When I first started using Dremel printers almost three years ago, the colour palette seemed a little limited. This has changed and Dremel has a really nice catalog now. This blue is one of the original colours and it has maintained its appeal. Visually, it is vibrant but not so much so that it is distracting. It is a great colour for accessories in larger models (buildings, automobiles, etc.) and a nice surface finish in various resolutions. It has very good physical properties.

    I bought this on boxing day, right after receiving my 3D Printer. The filament in the sealed box's (2) was tangled, and very brittle which is a sign it had come in contact with humidity. Trying to print with it was nearly impossible due to poor adhesion with the printing bed. Prints detached repeatedly, regardless if I followed the recommended heated-bed temp or not. I tried to contact Dremel who have never responded to my concerns. It does not meet my expectations from Dremel. I don't see myself ever buying it again.

    Bad quality too expensive

    I had two rolls half way started cracking I had it properly storage. the price is ridiculous I had to get one in a rush for a project so I bite the bullet but for sure I will never get this again. only way i will reconsider it if they bring down the price to a proper low quality filament

    Good quality but, Filament comes tangled sometimes

    Recently I bought seven spools of Dremel PLA filament and Found two of the spools tangled half way of being used. I have a message for you Dremel and for the ridiculously high price for your filament and providing only a half a kilogram vs. one kilogram and it costing more than other filaments, and claiming that your filament is better than others. You should try better at making it as good as it sounds.

    Q: Will you ever stock 3mm filament used for other types of printers?

    • A: Dremel has no plans to offer 3mm filament, we will go forward with 1.75mm. This is based on the compactness of the smaller filament as well as our extruder design.
