Q: Does the lid create an airtight seal without boiling the jar?

A: This product is for decorative purposes only. however, if you were to use a proper canning jar, will need to boil it in order to create an airtight seal. this is standard among all jars.

These are ideal size for 2. Larger jars end up, opened, in the fridge waiting for the rest of the content to be eaten. Often, it goes to waste because we don't feel like having the same thing day after day.
