Overall, a decent machine. Only used it once so far. There are a few places where it's difficult to clean. The separation between the motor and the base. We had an all plastic one that flexed a lot so the slices were uneven. This one doesn't seem to have that problem. Also, the thickness adjustment stays where I set it.

this Cuisinart food slicer works great for all kinds of meat as well as slicing homemade bread. The adjustment setting is easy to set for thick or thin slices and it adjust to perfect thickness when slicing homemade bread for perfect size every time!
