Brilliant, cheap and almost free to run

Best gadget ever. Works like a dream. Only needs a 9 volt battery. Hook up the hose and off it goes. I have had mine for at least 8 years and has been a brilliant buy. I do not leave my out in the winter as I live in NB Canada. So on e the season is over it has a time to dry remove the seals at the hose point buts do put caps on. The ones you can buy for hoses because of spiders getting in. Just me! And also remove battery. And she’s ready for the next season.

Product is very useful deterrent

Purchased this years ago for the kids for use in a field beside our home, but the force was too powerful. Packed it away and decided to use it to keep squirrels, raccoons, skunks and cats out of my current yard, once my pet dog passed away. Very effective as a deterrent and useful to water the grass unintentionally, when triggered. Unfortunately, the nut that attaches the stake to the "head" of the sprinkler broke. Couldn't find a replacement part. However, I found a review with the same problem which was to replace the plastic part with a metal 1/2" to 3/4" adapter connector, which was also purchased at Canadian Tire. Voila, the ScareCrow is back in action!

Not as good as the older model.

This is our second buy of this product. The original worked well for almost 20 years and kept the deer and cats out of or garden.
This one is not as good as the first, and the motion detector is not as sensitive even on the high setting. We are still having deer eating our veggies.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The company that produced this item originally went bankrupt, there for our supply was limited this year. Another company has since bought the company and will be producing this item for the 2016 season. We are unsure at this time if we will continue to stock this model or a different one.
