Awesome little BBQ

I bought this BBQ 7 or 8 years ago and I only now have to replace the burners. It is a great little BBQ. we live off it int he summer and it gets lots of use in the winter too.

Warranty ??

Purchased this unit in 2015. Works very well for 4 years. After 3 years the Temp meter failed. Not covered by 5 years warr. After 4 years the burners were gone. Not covered again??? But what is the 5 years warranty for ??? I will certainly check warranty details on my next purchase, and it won't be a Coleman product.

Perfect Small BBQ

After many tries with low cost BBQ I finally got a hit. This low cost BBQ has all the qualities of a top of the line. Solid, heavy stainless steel hood, quality cooking grill etc. Cooks everything evenly and don't let the small size fool you. It can easily cook for 6-8 people with no trouble.
I am not sure why others have complained about the "hot" handle. It heats up to well over 700 degrees in just over 7 minutes and the handle is never hot to the touch. They must have addressed this issue. Highly recommend this Coleman.

This is a great product! I had this for 3 years now. I have no problem with it. We give a good clean couple times a years and that's all it takes. I wouldn't mind to add a side burner but more option to cook. I would buy this again if I have to.

we have a limited space on our tiny balcony , and a friend had told us about this model... well we LOVE it.
we've had it for 1 yr now, and it is powerful !
much more than our old bulkybbq we previously owned this is half the size with double the power.
You will not regret this purchase !

A: It would appear by their site there is not a 'conversion'. However, there is a Natural gas version that is $50 more. That product number is 85-3067-2.

A: There are 4 wheels on the bbq; 2 that lock and 2 that don't. The wheels are small (2 to 3 inch diameter) but i had no trouble moving the BBQ on patio stone surface.

A: yes. fits the BBQ when the shelves are folded down. Not cheap, but seems well made (I bought one myself).

A: the grill is cast iron, and much much better than the porcelain coated. I would recommend seasoning grills with veg oil and turning on bbq to burn off, before initial use. Plus, the 30,000 btu works very well with the size of it too. This one won out over another two higher end and more expensive bbqs. Definite recommend! :)

Q: What cooking tools to use? What type of cooking utensils can be used with this BBQ? Will stainless steel spatulas scrape and damage the grates/grill??

A: I use the normal bbq scraper very lightly and so far no problems. But what i do after cooking is leaving it burn, open lid for a while and then try to scrap off before shutting down.
