    Impressed

I purchased one of these in the Fall of 2011 to store a truck I don't use in the winter. The box itself was extremely heavy and awkward, but once I got it home it was relatively easy to put up with 3 or 4 able bodies. No missing parts or alignment issues as others described. The shelter has now been through 3 winters, including last year's polar voltex winter, without incident. However, during the last winter a family member was getting something from inside the shelter and accidently put a cut in the clear window. I liked the shelter enough that I wanted to fix it right, so I contacted the manufacture and ordered a replacement cover. I had it in about a week and installing it on the frame was about a 45-minute job with 3 people. Shelter looks like new again and I am hoping to get many more years out of it. The key to keeping it going has been having it anchored to a good solid base; I have paving slabs down, then plywood, then some tarps (to keep the moisture down). I've also got some parking curbs along the side to keep the edges of the tarp down. I also make sure the tarp stays tight but ratching it down again every few months.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

It works as a greenhouse, just not forever.

I got this product in May 2011, to use as a greenhouse. I had the same experience as some other people, the parts were not perfect. My clever husband managed to turn one extra stick into the stick it was supposed to have been. He also managed to put it up single handedly. It took days instead of hours but he did it. Otherwise, it has served well for 3 seasons. It has withstood wind, snow and hail. The fabric is sturdy and resists ripping. It was damaged (bear, cat???) early in its life, I taped the tear and it never went further. At some point the velcro closure that keeps the doors rolled up dies, as do the zippers. Problems solved by poking holes in the fabric and putting a long bootlace through it. The holes do not tear out. The cover is now showing signs of wear and tear, thin in places and I noticed a small tear due to snow stress. It has started to sag and is not shedding snow as well as it used to. I hope to get one more season out of it and guess what: next time it comes on sale I am buying another one!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor Customer service of the manufacturer

Purchased on a Saturday, some parts were missing. Back to Canadian tire, told to wait and call the manufacturer on Monday. The agent of Shelterlogic customer relation didn't even let me talk, was just repeating the procedures. Decided to get my money back and buy another model, but never a Shelter logic or Clearview model.

No, I do not recommend this product.

ugly poor quality wears out fast yuk

First of all these things are ugly. A dark green colour would fit better into most back yards. Then it started to wear out and looked increasingly tattered as time wore on and in three years it was junk. The structure was not suitable for Northern Ontario snow loads and the roof sagged in. Poor design poor quality. I would never purchase one again. Much better to spend the money on lumber for a car port type structure that will look good and last.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Very poor Quality control

I bought this portable garage to take to cottage to store my boat over the winter. Tried to assemble it with 3 able bodies and it took 3 times as long as they advertise (2 hours). There were missing parts, parts manufactured incorrectly, and parts that did not connect correctly. I was 100 miles from no where at my cottage and on weekend with no customer support available from Shelter logic. I had to make do by re-drilling miss-aligned holes, and making holes where they had failed to do so during manufacturing process. Luckily I had 4 extra ratchets to use where they were missing in the box. After 6 hours of grief..... I would not recommend Shelter logic to anyone.

No, I do not recommend this product.
