A: CIL Plus Compost + Worm Castings may be applied prior to over-seeding in early Spring or again in September at a rate of 12.5 kg per 25 square metres. Where possible rake into existing soil, and in Spring allow daily temperatures to reach over 15 degrees Celsius before applying grass seed.

A: CIL Plus Compost + Worm Castings is a rich and humic blend of compost, peat moss/peat humus and worm castings. It is the ideal blend for enriching all of your garden beds, and rejuvenating old tired soil by encouraging soil-microbial activity.

Q: Is this treated with fungicides and/or pesticides?

A: We do not chemically or artificially heat our soils to sterilize them. We insist that our suppliers naturally heat the soil through composting. Composting will, when done correctly, naturally heat the decaying materials from 135 to 165o Fahrenheit, and when maintained throughout the entire 5 month process will produce a nutrient rich healthy compost.
