I've been wanting to purchase a generator for years. This is a good size and portable for my needs if I loose power this winter. Wheels were easy to install. Pull cord starts up without much effort at all which is important to me. I'm ready for winter. Gas tank is large so running time should be very good. I have no problem with the noise. Outlets support my needs.

Don’t buy this.

Not powerful. Won’t run a simple pump. Struggled with a small space heater. Not much good for anything and they won’t refund me.

A: sometimes there's not enough draw and the gen won't run smooth, you got to pull at least a third of the power of the gen then it should run smooth...

A: In addition: Most travel trailers have an onboard converter for charging batteries. Some of these systems draw as much as 8 amps of power. Amps x Volts = Watts. So, 8 amps x 120 volts = 960 watts. Will our little 1200 running watt generator run this 960 watt load? Absolutely!!!

A: Yes, it will run a 1/2 hp non-capacitive start sump pump, I have done this using a similar generator with no trouble.

A: Interesting question; haven't tried to charge any batteries with this unit. Based on the specifications it is, conceivably, possible; wouldn't want to be in a life/death situation when trying it out, however.
