Q: How much battery power does it need , would i be able to use it off my Kubota B26 tractor battery?
a year agoA: Yes as long as it is 12 volt battery that is used. Powerful winch, it is heavy. But pulls SUV onto trailer no problem.

Q: Is this winch appropriate for a marine railway to put a boat out of the water onto land? If yes, does it winch both ways? Will the brake still hold weight if there is no power?
4 years agoA: this winch has amazing power.would easily pull a boat on a marine railway.....and yes it will hold load with no power it has a lock to free spool. it will also winch in both directions .

Q: Can this be hooked onto two separate things (ie truck-truck or truck-tree or tree-car or tree-trailer etc) or is it strictly bumper-mounted? Essentially, can this be a portable tower, as long as it has a 12v supply?
4 years agoA: The winch can be portable as long as it continues to be mounted on a stable vehicle. For example, UTV's, ATV's, trucks, etc. Thank you.

Q: How does the brake work on this winch. I would like to use it for lifting loads vertical only.
5 years agoA: Unfortunately we do not recommend any of our winches to be used in an application to pull items vertically. We suggest looking into a hoist for the intended application. We apologize for the inconvenience.

6 years agoA: No wireless remote, but the hand-held quick-connect remote control and 12-foot cable offer excellent control while winching.

Q: What is required to mount this winch on the front of my Ram 3500?
6 years agoA: To mount this winch to a vehicle, the vehicle must have a 2’ front or rear end class III hitch receiver. This is only required if your application is being performed with the speed mount.

Q: is waterproof and does this winch have a weatherproof rating?
6 years agoA: The winch is water resistant. It should be covered when not in use and should never be submerged. It is not waterproof, sorry.
