Exceeds expectations

Had a 10 year old unit that died. Found this one with good reviews and decided to give it a shot. Installed myself and had no issues. Works like a charm and is fast. Would recommend if not looking for opener that comes with smart phone capability (can be upgraded though if interested). If inexperienced (like me) figure on ~6 hours to Uninstaller old unit and install new.

I purchased this unit a month ago. This unit compared to the I replaced is much more quiet, fast and easier to install. This unit gives a few extra features that are useful and easy to use. I would recommend this units to anyone; I am impressed.

Works as advertised - No complaints

Have been using this garage door opener for about 2 months and have no complaints. Was easy to install (replaced an old opener) and works exactly as advertised. My old opener I had to be in the driveway at a close distance before it would open, this one opens when I'm at the end of the street! The operation of the motor in opening my double-wide door (2 car width) is seamless and smooth. No complaints.

Quiet for a chain drive!

Purchased and installed a month ago. Assembly was smoothe. I am very surpised as to how quiet and smoothe this chain unit is. Repaced a Genie belt drive system which died after 3 yrs of use. This chain system is just as quiet and by far the mist quiet chain system i have ever owned. I am quite satisfied with the purchase.

Q: My door is 7.5 feet high. Do I need to purchase the 8 foot extension kit? Thanks.

A: Standard door opening height is 7Ft., the actual door itself maybe 7.5” high to cover the complete opening. Therefore you should have no problem with the operator out of the box. The only difference to this would be if it was a custom home made door opening at 7.5” and there is actually an 8ft -8.5ft high door, then you would need the extension kit for 8ft.

A: The operator comes equipped with rails to operate a 7ft high door. If you have an 8ft, 9ft, or 10ft door than you will need to purchase an additional extension rail kit. Here are the kits for doors higher than 7ft: Product# 046-0588 CHM 10` EXT CHN KIT Product# 046-0590 CHM 8` EXT CHN KIT
