Product Details

The Catchmaster Pro Series Multi-Catch Mouse Trap & Glue Board is made with AP&G’s legendary non-toxic glue formula and sturdy metal for lasting performance. The boards are sticky enough to catch mice, but not enough to cause a nuisance for you and your pets. Combining glue boards with a multi-catch metal cage provides a great option for dry and/or dusty locations where glue trays and other traps might get contaminated.

  • Can catch over a dozen live mice at a time

  • Chemical free and safe to use around children or pets

  • Can be used with included glue trap or as a live catch device

  • Fully re-usable with glue trap refills available in-store

  • Additional bait is not needed and aside from removing the cover, no additional setup is required

  • Glue boards can tolerate any environment except for extreme cold for up to one year when used with the metal casing

This live mouse trap works

I wanted a live trap only and not the glue pads included which made my purchase more expensive. The live trap works well and the glue pads were discarded

Good trap

I bought this trap after spotting a mouse in a storage room, and within 48 hours, it caught one! I used the bait attraction liquid which i bought separately, placing two small drops in the middle of the trap, which worked great. After a thorough cleanup, I reused the trap with fresh bait and caught a shrew, which I released back into the wild. I highly recommend this trap, especially compared to traditional snap traps that didn't work as well. The trap comes with an extra glue sheet, which I saved for future use. It would be great if the manufacturer included more glue sheets with the purchase, but overall, the trap's effectiveness makes up for it. With proper cleaning after each catch, this trap proves to be very effective. Thank you.

Q: CONFUSED: WHY does it come with a GLUE TRAP sheet when it's a SEALED unit?? Once the mice get in, they cannot walk out so what is the use of the glue sheets??

  • A: It's a multi-trap. The glue board is scented with bait to lure multiple mice inside, and it stops them from working cooperatively to engineer a great escape, jamming the works, or making a racket as they starve. Mice are pests, not pets. If that offends your delicate sensibilities, bait it with peanut butter and don't install the glue board, but be sure to check it twice a day or else they'll resort to cannibalism.

Q: What is the length of this device? The measurements indicated in this Canadian Tire posting is way too small for such trap. Looks like an error made.

  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. The multi-catch trap is approximately 10.25 Length x 6.1875 Width x 1.85 High, all in inches.

Q: Is there a trap door opening that needs to be re-set in my mouse trap. I originally caught over a dozen mice in the trap but the mice don’t seem to be able to enter the trap now.

  • A: No and please don't catch chipmunks! This is cruel. The hole is not big enough anyhow. Mice and chipmunks are NOT the same size.

Q: Would this work for a short tailed shrew inside the house?

  • A: Shrews are generally smaller than most mice, so it's likely OK. Try bacon or hot dog pieces--rather than seeds or PB--as a bait if you're trying to trap shrews.

  • A: If you want to "Live Trap" them and release them miles away from your home? Then you are doing just fine...the mice can smell the aroma of the peanut butter through the vents in the box, and will find their way in. You don't need to check the box every 4 hours! I see that you have a water dish in there too, so just put the box in the shade and they will be fine ( like they would in the shade anywhere else! ). You can check the box every two days or so...no worries! :o) To get them in the box faster..you can dab a little peanut butter along the entrance way..they will eat a little and then move further along to the next dab. Open the lid of the box, and then put a large dab ( one mouse body length away ) from the other side of the one way door. This will entice them to push through the door. I used this box in my barn to kill them by putting nothing but a open tuna can in the box. It works very good! I used the Peanut butter too,...but had better success with Tuna inside the box, as mice can smell it even better than peanut butter,..and they Love it! Just "Drizzle" the aromatic juices of the Tuna can all around the box, and put a few tiny pieces inside the trap door to "attract" them! Good Luck! :o)

Q: How do I clean this trap? Now that my car is mouse-free, I'd like to clean the trap with a disinfecting spray & rinse with water. Will the trap rust?

  • A: Hello Lu-Lu Cleaning the trap with disinfecting spray and water should be fine. I'd recommend making sure the trap gets fully dried as well. If you have further questions, you can email us at info@catchmaster.com.

Q: I have caught the mice no problem but they get in the trap and then right back out again through where they entered.... Am I doing something wrong? I had a different live trap and it was very effective... would appreciate some insight... much thanks

  • A: Hi Debbie and thank you for your inquiry and feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with our Multi-catch trap as we have had much success for many years. If you choose to use our Multi-catch trap as a live trap it is highly recommended to monitor the trap frequently as if the rodent(s) are left unattended for an extended period of time they may tamper the trap.
