Storage ottoman

We just love this ottoman. It isn't too bulky and does not take up too much room. We definitely enjoy all the storage space. Great for storing out of season clothes or extra linens. We do not sit on it regularly seeing it is in the bedroom but find it sturdy and quite well made. Would buy again

Had to return twice and broke a third time

I've bought this 3 times now. Returned it twice. all three times was the same issue. The hinges on the lid break and split from the cheap wood construction so now it can't open and close properly. Also on top I rested my arm on it and could hear a crack. I weigh 150 lbs and should not be breaking wood by leaning on it. This is an inferior product and shouldn't be bought. Don't waste your money.

We have bought this product a few times and returned it as many as it was bought. We used it as a toy box for our living room but within a couple of months the hinges began to loosen and come apart form the wood frame. Each one we purchased or had replaced by warranty would come unhinged on the same side leaving it to close with difficulty or it would not close all the way. The last one we had replaced is now unhinged and we have only had it a month and a half. And we haven't used it as a toy box we have used it only to store throw blankets. It is a pretty ottoman but it shouldn't be used for anything other to sit on because opening it frequently will only damage it.

A: It does not have safety hinged, as they are not necessary. The lid is a tight fit between the ends and you have to push it up to open and push it down to close, it does not close on it’s own.
