Be careful with the springs

It's a well made light but take care mounting the globe. You have to tuck the springing wires into the globe opening and push it up. The springs hold it against the base. Be careful not to bend the springs too far or they won't hold the globe tight to the base.

Q: How do you get the shade off? It seems like it will shatter and I need to clean it.

A: Also see attached photo: Assemble the lampshade (7). Press and hold the 3 pcs of spring strips (6), making sure all 3 pcs are set in the opening of lampshade (7), then release spring strips (6). Adjust the lampshade (7), making sure it sits properly and is held by the spring strips (6).
