Q: What does the covering most closely resemble. I have read previous answers but CU is not a familiar term. Would water soak into the cover or bead up as on shiny vinyl. “Cover is a kind of CU, which is composed of 52% Polyurethane and 48% Polyester”

A: The texture of the ottoman is very soft like leather and is quite durable and should repel water.

A: The cleaning code for the cover on this bench is "S": Clean only with dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate. Do not use water.

Q: Do the legs come off?? I want to use this so my dog can jump up and have her own sleeping area vs in the bed. It might be too high for her with legs on.

A: Hi there, unfortunately this item comes pre-assembled. That said, our CANVAS Streeter Storage Ottoman #068-7543-6 requires assembly so the feet come separately from the ottoman, therefore you could opt to skip that step. Hope this helps!
