Terrible qaulity. Paint job is extremely bad and cracking at most of the joints. All around just an awful purchase

I love this little unit I purchased the floor model for a good price, the doors won't stay closed - the part with the magnet to keep the door closed was not installed properly and there are broken pieces on top. I am going to have to find a piece of wood to secure the magnet. The unit was on a high shelf so I didn't realize this but that being said I love it and the price was fantastic.

He is my e-mail to the supplier "HomeStar, "Since you don't answer your customer service phone I am sending this e-mail. Looking for replacement for the mismatched drawer knobs you call Handles part V. Package contained two mismatched knobs, one small and one larger. Appears you have careless packaging and lax quality control. Please replace the knobs by sending to me by mail. Also have a question on step 16. Why is part O (18 pieces) called a Drawer Connector as it does not appear to have any relationship whatever to the drawer. Appears to be some kind of stabilizer system for the entire unit. Another comment on the glue, there were two small tubes that was was less than 1/2 the amount required. Going out to buy glue in the middle of assembly adds to the already considerable time to put the unit together. It is not a simple put together project, it is a materials kit that you use to to build your own cabinet. One more thing, recommend you spend a few more cents and provide separate bags for different screws rather that just putting multiple screw types in the same bag which makes assembly more difficult. Before I buy my next Canvas product I will make sure it is not from Homestar. " The e-mail reply from Homestar did not address any of my suggestions and said they did not have any replacement knobs so I should return the unit to Canadian Tire.

I didn't have as much trouble assembling this item compared to the other reviewers. Quality was not bad, and things lined up nicely. I did have a small chip in the top front corner... not so bad to make me want to return it though...

I've assembled so many pieces of furniture over the years and this was by far the worst. Made from the cheapest chip board and with a hundred pieces. I spent 2 hours trying to put this together and the pieces broke, and screws stripped through the particle board. Then they expect you to glue this stuff together. Worst quality ever. Don't buy this please.
