Awesome fire pit

Glad I bought this one, it's bigger than I thought and very light, love it. It doesn't have any side openings but you don't need it, fire burns fine even without any wind, the cover keeps most flankers inside and the cover handle is even included.

A: I believe this is simply a typo. Check the features list now and you will see that this Fire Bowl can be used with "wood or candles". We have never tried using candles in ours.

Q: What is the minimum distance that should be from Any fence, house, etc. Needing to know for a permit. If less than 8 feet then I’m good. I would need to show the fire department. Is any of this information in the instructions?

A: I don't remember any specifics like you are asking for in the instructions. I wouldn't want a fire (even one contained in a fire bowl) burning 8 ft from my house. If the fire is kept small, the screen is on, and it's not windy, you don't get a lot of sparks flying. We love ours but don't require a permit where we use it.

Q: what is the thickness of the steel in these fire pits, from the reviews they all seem to rust within a year or two.
