Misleading description

I don't understand why the description of this lamp says that there is a wood element. Totally misleading. There is not a lick of wood in this lamp. It is completely metal. The bar that protrudes down was not centred, as in photos others have posted. It's a decent lamp but function wise but you're not getting what is described or pictured.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How does the lamp shade attach please? I have a stained glass shade I want to use with the lamp stand. There is nowhere on the box or online that seems to give this info.

A: There are two “arms” around the light bulb and at the top above the light bulb, there is a bolt. The shade has a ring that slides over it and then you screw the top piece to hold it in place.

A: This lamp would require the use of one 3-way 150W type A bulb . That 3-way just about the lamp holder, you can use the control rods which is on the lamp holder to light on /off the lamp . Light on(bright) – Brighter – Light off
