    Great Long Lasting Drill/Driver

    I've had this drill almost 5 years. I haven't treated easily either, I have left it in a none heated garage during winter for 1st couple of years, I've built a pressure treated 2"x10" dam using all 3.5" lag bolts, and many more projects and repairs to count. My son's have abused (including getting it wet) it also. The drill works as well as the day I bought it. The batteries seem to last as long as new, at least I can't see any difference. This drill is powerful enough that when something comes tight it will still give your hand a bit of a turn. If you need a drill buy this, you will not regret it!

    As a drill it's a great tool. Very easy to use, light weight, comfortable and powerful. The problem is after what I'd call moderate use (home owner) there is now noticeable play in the shaft holding the chuck. I've never seen this kind of problem even with cheap drills. I thought this would be with me for ten of fifteen years but after three it is pretty much done. Sigh...

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Works Hard; Rests Comfortably

    I'm about to turn 70, with a 175 year-old house and have finally retired a Wen ("Made in Chicago") drill bought with the house, 38 years ago...it smelled funny. Being a Teutonic fan (BMWs, Volkls, Braun, etc.) I automatically gravitated to the Bosch. And I'm glad I did. I charged one of its batteries 7 months ago, have used it several times for driving big screws and other repetitive chores. Just now, I checked that same battery and it's still "Full". It's very comfortable to hold and run, it is easy to adjust power, the lighting is great, the batteries hold their charge and the case does a good job of holding two bit cases, the extra battery and all but the charger. In sum, I'm persuaded that this will be my best and last drill.

    This Drill never lets me down!

    I'm an avid hobbyist/DIYer. I also worked in contruction, and i have to say, this is an excellent drill! I've had this one for 3 years. Both in the workshop and the jobsite, this drill has performed. Compared to other drills i've used, this drill is lighter, more compact, and more powerful. There is a good amount of rubber overmolding to protect it from damage. The worklight is placed well, and lights up the target area well. The battery gauge comes in handy, and the batteries charge really fast! Gearbox is solid, ratcheting chuck is solid, trigger and selector switch are solid. Has alot of power to boot. The saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" rings true here, as this drill is so lightweight (Under 3lbs with battery!) compared to others, that it withstands falls and drops better. When your'e holding a power tool all day, it really makes a difference.

    I think this drill is great! Mine has the 2 Ah batteries which seem to charge fast and go the distance. The styling of the drill looks great and fits the hand comfortably. I'm not a professional contractor, but for my needs this drill seems to exceed my expectations. The variable trigger works really well and you are able to start off slowly if needed without any issues. I give this product 5 stars, the only thing I wish was different is the hard case seems to be about 1/3 larger than it really needs to be, but that is just being nit picky.
