    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to predrill and then drive in bolts. I can quickly switch the bit to the driver. The 18 volt battery has been one of the longest lasting with top power.

    Easy to use powerful drill

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first cordless drill I ever owned. I was nervous about cordless due to power. But this drill comes with all the power you need. Easily drilled through brick mortar with the proper bit. The chuckless mount makes it easy to change bits. And coming with two batteries you don't worry about losing energy. Weight is reasonable and fits easily in your hand. Very easy to use. The little light illuminates in dark places. Reversing is easy. As is the variable speed. All functions easy and intuitive to use. I strongly recommend and will no longer fear cordless drills. Especially from Bosch.

    Q: is this a 1/2 or 3/8 inch chuck

    • A: Yes. CT has 2 products under the same product code. Both the Bosch 180-02 and the 181-02 drills have the same CT product code. The 180-02 has a 3/8" chuck. The 181-02 has a 1/2" chuck. (I just bought mine 4 days ago and I got the 1/2" chuck.)

    Q: Is a slight "bit wobble" normal for this drill (or drills in general?) I also own a [budget] Jobmate 12V drill which wobbles noticeably when I hold it upright and "pull the trigger". I noticed that my Bosch does the same thing, though not as pronounced. Is this normal?

    • A: I have noticed some reviews in past stating this, mine has very minimal wobble. So maybe the quality control isn't greatest at the assembly factory. Lots of cordless drills do have wobble some more then others. Buy a 300-400 dollar makita or milwaukee or dewalt probably odds very low getting wobble. If the wobble is that bad I would bring it in for exchange.

    Q: What is the actual model number of the Bosch drill included in this kit? 1. Listing says: Includes two 18V XRP batteries (replacement: 54-2869) The above indicated CTC replacement battery Part No. 54-2869 returns not a battery but a Prestone Radiator Hose.

    Q: Charge battery with power inverter Can use the motomaster 1500 watt power inverter (see related product) to charge the batteries that come with this drill?

    • A: I would NOT recommend it. You would be better off investing a bit more money into a "pure sine wave" inverter if you really need a mobile charging solution. Plus, a pure sine wave inverter will be able to run other 120v power tools' motors with no problems either.

    • A: I think the model# is BAT611 but also stamped on the battery is SM34-403240764. It's of course a Bosch & is 18v/1.5Amp-hour/Lithium Ion. Hope that helps.
