Good for connecting steel, zinc, and copper together. Probably also works on chomium. Not quite as good as welding, but close.

Q: Will this solder nichrome wire?

A: Thanks for reaching out. You would not be able to solder to nichrome wire since nichrome is so stable at high temperatures it keeps the solder from wetting it.
