C'est écrit en aluminium, ne vous faites pas avoir, tous les panneaux extérieur sont en particule de bois (genre masonite) à l'allure d'aluminium. Les séparateurs ne tiennent pas en place. La mousse protège bien les objets, il est facile de découper les espaces dont on a besoin.

Why is it PINK toned now?!

Bought this case a few years ago, and really love it. Useful, durable, lightweight, versatile... Went to purchase another one because I have more equipment I want to transport and protect, but somehow the body colour now is distinctly pink(!) toned instead of gray, so it doesn't match the same case I purchased only a couple of years ago. I have no idea why this is, but you can see the colour change in the photos of the review section as it changes over time. I hope it changes back to grey, so I can buy a matching case again.

A: No, it has an aluminum FRAME but is not even a metal case. Put an ohm meter on the case and there is no conductivity. If it were aluminum, the meter would schow zero ohms.

Q: Does the case come with additional foam inside? for added protection?

A: The case is amazing - especially for the price. It comes with thick soft good quality foam that fills the entire inside of the case - and the foam is partially slit in a criss-cross pattern so that you can easily pull out pieces so that you can nest ANY unusually shaped item inside it - and it will be very well protected, and there are also padded foam covered wooden dividers that you can set up in place of the foam to divide smaller items. This thing is very well designed and worth 3 times what they charge on sale.

Q: Just purchased this and started assembling things and I realized there is no key in this package anywhere that I can find. Am I missing something? Was it hidden someplace or was it in an envelope?
