NOT 75 GPH but only 9

The pump seems to works properly but turning the debit knob makes ZERO difference in the debit. The actual debit is 3 cups per minute, which is 9 gallons (canadian) per hour, not 75.

Working well as a pump in our pond

Birds are happy, as the water is flowing again. This pump costs a fraction of the formal mag pumps. I did place it inside a canister, filled with course gravel, to ascertain no dirt catches the propeller.

Does everything it should!

I bought this pump to use with a wort chiller for brewing beer. It is connected to 25 feet of 3/8" copper tube and immersed in a large rubbermaid bin of water. If you turn the dial down to the slowest pumping rate it gets the outlet water up to within 2-3 degrees of the wort temperature and doesn't go through too much water while doing so. It's super quiet and has just worked perfectly.

I purchased two of these pumps for two wall water fountains that I found at a garage sale. They were very simple to install and are quiet and efficient. Fountains are up and looking great!
