Comes with horizontal mount for ATV. Had to do some work to get a vertical mount for my tractor. Used it to drag some heavy logs out of the swamp. We maxed this thing out many times and it worked great. There is too much cable on it for easy spooling so I cut about 3 meters of cable off. Spooled great after that.

Pulled a uforce600 out of clay. No problem at all. Used it for 4 full length pulls in 40 minutes and did not overheat. Would definitely buy again.

Q: can this winch be mounted upsidedown?

A: Yes it will work upside down. This will change the position of the roller fairlead and the path of the cable. Keep that in mind as you want to ensure that the path of the cable is free from any obstacles.

Q: I want to use this to raise AND LOWER, an antenna tower (about 1000 pounds). Will this winch work to LOWER the tower? Or does it only free wheel out?

A: Yes, depending on the size. I had a 3500 lb winch and with just the single cable an it would easily pull an 18 foot inboard bowrider onto my trailer.

Q: How water proof is this winch I drive through some water holes don’t want to put on and have it wreck right away. Water is over the running boards, so would be submerged.

A: My husband puts his winch under water on a regular basis with his quad. The winch is holding up good and shows no wear and tear from being submerged.

Q: What attachment method is used and whats the max line length for synthetic cable? I'm looking to upgrade to a synthetic winch line wondering how the line is attached to the drum and how much space there is for additional line.

A: Only buy 35ft or so 40 ft is too much for the 2 little bars on top rope gets jammed which you probably notice with the wire
