    Great for the cottage

    I use the whole rainfresh system at my cottage , with a rainfresh 30, 5 and 1 filter at the pump and filter the drinking water with a rainfresh carbon and ceramic filter. The water comes out very fresh and clear.

    I didn't test this product. I actually purchased it. I live at the lake and the water has been very sandy this year. When I purchase some of the other filters I find that I have to change the filter quite frequently which can become very expensive. When I use these filters I change the filters a lot less frequently.

    I have used this product for years. It does a great job of filtering my well water. The best part is it works for about 3 months and is very easy to change. I use this product along with my UV light and end up with good drinking water.

    • A: Rainfresh coarse pore sediment cartridge model CF3 (62-1033 & 62-1039 (2-pk)) filters water down to 30 micron nominal. Its approximate physical dimensions are 2.6" OD x 9.875"L x 1.15"ID. It is open on both ends. This cartridge is excellent at reducing coarse particulates, sand, sediment, dirt etc from your home water supply.
