Don't use their service department in Uxbridge, Ontario

Auto service at the Uxbridge location was horrendous. Even though I had an appointment, they tried to send me away without checking my car. Thank goodness I refused. I had a transmission leak and had almost no fluid. Youngish man with a beard...I won't be back.

A: MERCON V is an approved ATF fluid and is recommended for use in Ford vehicles calling for MERCON V ATF. For the 2009 Escape with 4 cylinder, consider using MotoMaster Synthetic Multi-Vehicle Low Viscosity ATF (946mL - SKU# 028-1579, 5L - SKU# 028-1575).

A: MotoMaster ATF Mercon V is not compatible with Ford Mercon LV. Viscosity @100C for Mercon LV is 5.8 cSt and is lower when compared with Mercon V which has a viscosity @ 100C at 7.6 cSt.
