I bought tins one sale a month or so ago and I'm very impressed! Lots of power, and it works well in all three modes, mulch, side discharge and rear bagger! Battery life is much better than I expected! I have a large corner lot and I can mow all my lawns plus the easement at the rear of my lot one one charge easily! After the complete mow of well over an hour there is still at least 25% charge left according to the indicator lights on the charger! I love the fact that it is self propelled as I'm 75+ now and found it hard to push the old mower up the inclines of my yard!

Great idea but....

I just bought this. I did try to post in the question area but was told it wasn't accepted. I was and am still excited to own this lawn mower. I really want to go Green but I was expecting each battery to last about 35-45 minutes on a full charge. I am getting 15 minutes. I don't know if my battery is defective or not. I can't find any information on how long I can expect it to last. I tried to give one battery a 20 hour charge as I saw in a post below but it didn't make a difference. So I will try again with both batteries but I would really prefer some advice from the makers or sellers if possible.

Hello Gena - Thank you for the feedback for this 60V 20-Inch Cordless Lawn mower, MO13B00. I’m sorry to hear of the issues you have experienced. The runtimes can differ, depending on the grass type, height, density and thickness. If the grass is dense and thick you must go a bit slower to allow the blades to cut thoroughly; going slower would also mean the batteries will run down faster. On average users will get up to 60 mins on a fully charged battery however, a 15-minute run time does not sound normal for a 60V 4.0 Ah battery. I would advise that you check the charge status of this battery by pushing the BCI button to illuminate the LED lights. It should show all lights to indicate a full charge. If it does not this means the battery has not been fully charged and could explain the run time. If you continue to experience issues, please contact us at 1-855-345-3934 for further assistance.

Great mower, terrible battery life

Had this mower for 1 season. First year the mower and battery life was ok, but not fantastic. Had to constantly have a battery charging to do a small front and back yard. I stored the batteries in a room temperature environment and kept them charged over the winter. Battery life this spring is less than half on a full charge, and it take 4-5x times longer to mow small lawns compared to the year before.
I want to go green and electric, but I can't afford to waste money on pointless purchases like this that don't last more than a season. At this point my review is don't waste your money. Pointless purchase.

Hello Reubin - We are sorry to hear the battery is not lasting as expected. Here are some reasons you may be having issues with your battery or charger: Recovery mode, if the battery has been stored with little to no charge for a long period of time, the charger will go into recovery mode, which will take 20 hrs to fully charge the battery. This will enhance the life of the battery. Once it is fully charged, the next charge will return to standard charging. False defect readings, this can occur if the charger has been left plugged into the outlet. Simply unplug the charger, wait one minute, plug the charger back in and try to reinsert the battery. If you are still experiencing a red flashing light, unplug the charger again, move it to a different location, plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery. Battery too warm, if the battery was recently used or too warm it will not charge. Allow it to cool before attempting to recharge. Battery alignment, battery misalignment is a common issue that can occur. It's easy to incorrectly align the battery and not realize it. Check to make sure there are no gaps and that the battery and charger are correctly seated. Slide the battery all the way down ensuring there are no gaps. Great mower, battery life is awful

The mower itself is fantastic, and does a great job. It's relatively quiet, too.
Unfortunately, battery life is bad. Out of the box, I followed the instructions to a "T" in regards to charging, etc, so it's not that.
We have a corner lot townhouse, so our backyard is larger than most - but certainly not an outrageous amount of lawn to cut. We go through BOTH 60v batteries in the ~25 minutes it takes to do the job - for just the backyard.
If you're insistent on buying one of these - make sure you get one that comes with two batteries, or else you're in trouble (unless you have a postage stamp sized backyard.
I suppose it's possible the batteries that came with the mower aren't performing as they should, but if that's the case, that's not really acceptable, either.
tl;dr - Mower good. Batteries bad. If you have a lot of lawn, this isn't the product for you.

Love this mower!

Been using this mower for 2 months now &love everything about it. Original purpose was to cut around newly planted tree row but like it so much am mowing my whole 110 x 400ft lawn with it while my large JD riding mower sits in the shed. The mower is lightweight &easy to push. Does a beautiful job. I crosscut in different directions with each cut &my lawn looks better than it ever has. The key is not letting it get too long or you will have minimal battery length. i Keep mine on the mulch feature &have never used the bagger. You would never really need it unless you let your lawn grow too long between cuttings. High grass on mulch gives only a max cut time per battery of 15 min max but at a proper length, it’s over double that. Mower comes with 2 batteries. Strongly recommend 2 batteries. They take an hour to charge so having 2 works great. I can cut my large yard on 2 charges each battery. The break between charges works great for me too! If the mower detects your grass is long, it automatically speeds up to cut through it. When this happens you get less battery length. If you cut more often, it will run at the slower speed & you’ll get a longer running time. There is nothing about this mower that I dislike. Great enjoyable outdoor workout. Would never have thought I would like cutting the grass but yes, I do!

R : Hello Alan, The batteries should be stored indoors in room temperature environment. The temperature range should be around -14-45°C(6.8-113°F) . This depends on how well the battery is maintained. There are different variables to consider to give an adequate answer. In optimal conditions batteries should keep almost all of their charge until about 2000 full cycles,
