Simple shelf

This is the second unit we have purchased. It goes together easily enough with a Phillips screwdriver and a small hammer.
The directions are clear enough, but one has to ensure that the screws are inserted into the small pilot holes on the edges of the pieces. If not, there is the likelihood of misalignment or the screw breaking through the edge of the pieces, rendering that fastener ineffective. Also, use a hand driven screw driver so:that one can ensure the screws are inserted is started properly, and the piece isn’t over tightened, which could strip the hole and require repair.
When the panels are screwed together, ensure everything is square using a square, or the backing panels. The nail dents are on the wrong side of the backing panels, so I used one of the nails to tap through the panel guide holes so that when I placed the panels there were guide holes on the side that were to receive the nails. Be careful to keep the nails straight and away from the edges of the boards so that the nails don’t poke out the side of the boards so or deform it.
If a screw gets stripped, remove the screw and inert a piece of toothpick covered in glue into the hole. Ensure the toothpick is shallower than the depth of the hole. Then reinsert the screw, drive it and don’t overtighten it.
If you are going to want to move the unit, lift it, or install 4 nail on furniture slides on the bottom outside vertical sides so that it can slide without chipping the bottom.
Remember, this thing is only good for 20 pounds, so try not to trip on it or it may collapse.

R : They are 9 by 9 pretty much same measurements corner to but bottom of it is unfished so if its placed against a wall im sure you can use it any way. They are a game changer for clutter with small kids once you get the bins
