It works fine. This our second scraper we bought for our other house. We still have the first one we bought over 20 years ago. Hopefully the new one will also last long.

Must have during harsh winters

This is a life saver when snow becomes ice. It helps to break it with ease and then shovel it off. It is compact and strong. One thing i miss is a good handle on the top would have helped me to hold strong and also to hang it around on walls. Anyway, no regrets - super helpful

Q: Would this work to scrape peeling wood stain on deck?

A: It might, my customer uses it for peeling glue off OSB board, we have never tried it on stain but I would think it would work. You would have to be careful to not score the boards but keep a even pressure on the edge and you may be ok.
