The Yardworks Gas Snowblower adjusts power automatically as you turn, and has a powerful engine that can deal with the most daunting snowblowing tasks with ease. The snowblower is also built for your convenience, helping you avoid cold fingers with heated grips, being easy to assemble and store, and providing plenty of options for speed control. 4-year limited warranty included.
Yardworks 2-Stage Gas Snowblower is powered by a 338cc OHV Champion engine with Cold Start Technology to ensure you get through heavy, wet snow with ease
Auto-Turn Steering Technology conveniently adjusts power to the inside wheel as your turn
Quick-turn chute control with remote tile lets you aim snow in any direction

I have had this snowblower since 2020 and have had all of the problems listed in other reviews ,tires spinning on wheels, broken drive cables, drive stalling, snow melts on top of the fuel tank and the water runs into the recoil freezes and renders it unusable. I replaced the spring in the steering clutch with a solid spacer so it no longer disengages one wheel to steer It is very annoying to have it quit so often while you are trying to get finished blowing snow. Right now it is down again with a broken drive cable . Can't afford to replace the machine so i guess i will have to keep fixing it. Canadian Tire has cut their losses and discontinued this machine. Wish I could too.

Cheap cables cause major headaches

I had one before this model, constantly breaking the drive cable, they eventually gave me the newer model which is this 338 yardworks and it is just as bad or worse, just complete garbage, burn your money it will be less stressful. Used it 3x and the 3rd time it breaks the drive cable with more than a foot of snow in my driveway once again... ordered a new cable, installed it, snowed 14inches got 2/3rds of my driveway done and the auger belt is slipping already and wont engage with any weight on it, has probably 15hrs on it since new and has been nothing but useless, unless you consider a major headache useful for $1400.

Save your money!

Nothing but issues with this snowblower. It will even freeze up and not allow you to change to reverse it just keeps going forward . The electric start hasn't worked from day 1 .

Strong engine, cheap everything else

If i could go back in my life and change one thing.... it would be to have not purchased this machine.
The friction wheel has been replaced 2 times in 2 years, and then this winter the bolts that hold the unit together (auger section to drive section) fell out and the unit split in half. (Metal is cheap and threads on unit broke down so bolts were not holding the thing together and literally fell out).
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is there a manual available for this blower? Mine did not come with one. My wheels are also spinning on the rims, is there a fix?

- A: The user manual is available on the product page in the square where it says "Additional Info" you can download it as a pdf. As for the tires spinning in the rims, call customer service and they will send you a new set. I had the same issue and they sent me a new set with the issue corrected. I have about 50 hours on my snowblower. It has a few small issues, but it has handled many snowstorms with ease.5 years agoHelpful?
