Solid product

Pretty quick to install. Took maybe 20 minutes. Seems well built. I suggest putting a tarp on the floor to avoid scratching the paint on the rack when you take it off the car

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We can't wait to use it, we love riding bikes and we usually go to the parks, so it's perfect for our jeep, easy to assemble and gives security when moving it, it's perfect. You can see that the material is of good quality.

The product quality is good, easy to setup and use. Bike positioning and transport is solid. Rack tilt feature allows easy opening of vehicle hatch. Included locking features for both bicycles and hitch lock is a bonus feature. No instore stock was a negative but store delivery was excellent.

Very Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fiance and I was able to take our bikes with us on our trip thanks to this Yakima bicycle rack. It holds up to a total of 120lbs and it's very sturdy. It's easy to assemble and comes with a lock.

Q: Does the strong arms extend Long enough to grab onto the bikes cross bars? Looks like the red button on top of the arm is for extending. Would feel this is more secure than attaching to front wheel.

A: Hi John, they do not extend to go past the front wheel. With that being said the bike is well secured, I hauled my YT Decoy 29 from Toronto to Mount St Anne in Quebec with no issues. The bar allows you to compress against the tire which at the same time locks against the cradle where the bottom of the tire sits. I also hauled my daughters 20” Commencal Ramones with no issues. I hope this helps!

A: This bike carrier does not fit fat tires. Fits bicycles with a 14"-29" wheel diameter and up 48" wheelbase. 2.5" tire width maximum.
