Decent, but doesn't quite hit the mark

I bought this cot for a camping trip, but didn't actually use it. In fact, I returned it because I found a similar slightly better cot for cheaper at another store.
This cot is pretty easy to set up, and is light when packed in it's carrying case. The only issue I had with it was with the long support poles. When you slide them in the canvas there is a pocket at each end that holds the pole to create the tension. These pockets were a challenge to get the pole into. The other cot I ended up keeping has pull loops to help with this. It's a small but helpful detail. For the expense and irritation with trying to get the poles in the pockets, for me it was a miss.

Easy set up and lightweight however had to return the first one as one of the legs would not stay clipped. Also it states 300lb capacity but the product itself states 265lb????

Got this cot on sale, and it’s amazing! Very light compared to the larger Woods option, and still the same size. Be careful not to pinch yourself when tightening the canvas.

A: OK, finally, because there are no directions, we have realized that the mistake we were making is having the central bar of the legs upside down. Now we have found the arrows and the feet work properly. Cot is taut. Yay !

Q: it says supports 300lbs then says capacity 265lbs - which is correct?

A: It’s quite narrow. I put a mattress on it too b/c it’s very taught! A small child might be comfortable on it wi thought cushioning. It works for me , but I would probably suggest no more than 150lbs?! Maybe 200 max?
